The SBYHN role helps promote health, either with a whole school approach, specific year levels – within the classroom environment, small groups of students or confidential individual one on one consults.
When meeting with students, our SBYHN helps promote positive health outcomes with the best interest of the individual's needs keeping in mind complete safety and risk concerns. As required, the SBYHN can refer students to appropriate support services such as internal (Student Support Services) or/and external (Non-Government and Government Community Health Service Providers).
