William Ross State High School values parent, student and community involvement.
We welcome parents into the school for assemblies, to meet with teachers or to participate in sporting carnivals and cultural events. Research has shown that parent involvement in a child’s education makes a significant contribution to the child’s success at school.
The school has an active P&C and Student School Council which represents the issues of our students, parents/carers. The P&C works to improve life at the school for all students. The Student School Council meets once per term to reflect on school performance and set strategic direction.
The P&C meet on the second Tuesday of each month (except during school
holidays) in the Administration block at 7.00pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
There are many ways in which you can become
involved in the school and as a family new to the area the P&C is a great way
to meet new people.
