William Ross State High School operates a Student Resource Scheme (SRS) to provide students with the resources needed for learning while saving families time and money through bulk purchasing and hiring arrangements. The scheme covers essential learning materials such as textbooks, worksheets, teacher-prepared resources, ID cards, student diaries, online programs, and temporary loans of novels, subject texts, cameras, art supplies, lab coats, and industry materials.

Funds collected are used solely for the operation of the scheme. The scheme, including fees and resources, is approved annually by the school’s P&C Association.
